Vier Kuratoren von bedeutenden internationalen Filmfestivals geben dem Publikum im Rahmen eines Podiums einen Einblick in ihre Arbeit.

Brussels Short Film Festival

The Brussels Short Film Festival proposes more than 300 short films by today's young talents coming from over 40 countries, presented in different competitive and thematic sections (Musts, Travelling, Event screenings, ...). More than 850 accredited professionals and 100 filmmakers are attending. Several workshops for industry guests are also organized.

Céline Masset
Master in History of Art and in Cinema analysis & Script writing. With Pascal Hologne, she founded the Brussels Short Film Festival in 1998. In 2005, they launched the first edition of the Be film Festival, focused on Belgian features films. She collaborated with he Brussels Mediterranean cinema festival and with the French speaking Belgian Producers Union. In 2016, she co-founds the Belgian Shortfilm Agency.

Entrevues Belfort
Through its First Films International Competition (1st, 2nd and 3rd films: features and shorts, fiction and documentary), Entrevues Belfort has showed and discovered some of the most important contemporary directors since 30 years. It also offers with [Films en cours] a complete post-production support.

Lili Hinstin
She founded the production company Les Films du Saut du Tigre in 2001. From 2005 to 2009, she was in charge of the cinema at the French Academy in Rome - Villa Médicis. Programmer for different structures, she was the artistic deputy director at Cinéma du réel international Festival in Paris from 2010 to 2013. She is the artistic director of Entrevues Belfort since 2013.

 

Filmfest München
Das Filmfest München ist eines der wichtigsten europäischen Sommerfestivals. Rund 180 Filme aus aller Welt werden präsentiert und geben einen Überblick über das Filmschaffen des zurückliegenden Jahres. Ein zentraler Aspekt ist die Begegnung von Publikum und Filmemachern in den Kinos, im Festivalzentrum und bei zahlreichen Veranstaltungen. Es ist auch der wichtigste Branchentreffpunkt für die deutschsprachigen und internationale Filmprofessionals  im Sommer.

Diana Iljine
Sie studierte in München Kommunikationswissenschaften und arbeitet seit 25 im Bereich Film und Fernsehen. Ihr Buch „Der Produzent“ avancierte zum Standardwerk. Seit 2008 arbeitete sie als Beraterin für internationale Lizenzen, Ko-Produktionen und im Bereich VoD. 2011 beendete sie ein Wirtschaftsstudium/MBA.  Sie ist Vorstand im Kuratorium junger deutscher Film und seit 2011 Leiterin des Filmfests München.

 

Thessaloniki International Film Festival and Thessaloniki Documentary Festival

The Thessaloniki International Film Festival (November) is the largest Greek film festival. It's a major platform for international independent cinema, as well as the annual Greek film production, important guests, an International Competition section as well as various tributes and sidebar events. In addition, the Industry section Agora gathers an international network of film professionals.

The Thessaloniki Documentary Festival (March) is among the most important documentary festivals in Europe. It showcases films from all over the world that highlight urgent global issues and promotes the large annual Greek documentary production and a variety of parallel events, while the festival’s industry section, the Agora Doc Market, has established itself as a meeting point of film professionals worldwide.

Orestis Andreadakis
He's a festival organizer, curator, writer and film critic. In 2016 he was appointed Artistic Director of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival and Thessaloniki Documentary Festival. He studied cinema and art history in Athens and Paris. In 1995, he co-founded the Athens International Film Festival and in 2011 the Athens Open Air Film Festival and directed them until 2016.
